Tonight as I laid Allison down to go to bed, I watched as her eyes actively looked all around. I wondered what this little 2 month old was thinking of the world that surrounded her. As I laid my hand gently on her chest, patting her to sleep, she took her little hand and grabbed mine, wrapping her fingers around my middle finger. It was that "magical moment" that made my heart skip a beat and my eyes well up with tears. "I never want to forget this!"I thought to myself. I have to keep hold of this memory.
As Jeff could tell you, I am not much of a writer. I don't journal. I don't keep a planner. And I certainly don't scrapbook. But tonight I decided I have to keep track of moments like these so I can hold on to them forever and look back on them often. I thought blogging might be a good venue for me. I enjoy getting on the computer and it is readily available to me. So I am giving it a try. My hope in writing this blog is to share about the things I love...Jesus, my husband, my baby, my pup, family and friends, Disneyland, CrossFit, and FOOD! So here we go...
